1) Why was a ratification process required? Where and how did Americans debate the proposed constitution?

2) During the debates over ratification, many people published their arguments using pseudonyms (fake names). Today, most newspapers refuse to publish letters to the editor or opinion statements without identifying the authors. However, many people post their opinions on the Internet without identifying themselves. Do you think it helps or hurts a debate if people don’t identify themselves when arguing their points? Why?

The ratification process was required because every state had to agree on the signing of the constitution. The framers were already aware that no everyone would agree, so they came up with the requirement of 9 out of 13 states had to agree.

I think that if someone gives their opinion without providing their name it is cowardly. It would be a very wise idea for a person to provide their name because if they are making an interesting point, then they can be rightfully acknowledged for their incite. Therefore it hurts a debate when people don't support their ideas.

The ratification process was required because the ratification of the conventions of states had to be enough so that the Constitution could be established. Americans debated the Constitution by voting.

I think that it hurts a persons debate because if a person makes a valid point they are not recognized for it. I also think posting ones opinion on the Internet without identification is point less because the point one could be making could be something someone else is interested in, or have questions about, and wont be able to ask questions, acknowledge, or discuss it.

The ratification process was required because it was made to ensure that all states agreed and approved on signing the Constitution, so the process was made to be deliberative. It was said that the process of would only consist of nine sate voters out of thirteen state voter, basically majority ruled because the Delegates knew that everyone would not agree on the same thing.
I think that in order to get your point across you should use your name if not no one will take u seriously in a debate because sometimes using a pseudonym can be distracting. for example, I know that when I use to see sign "John Handcock" I would always laugh about it and it would still be a major distraction to me. If you want to be taken seriously than use your real name!

1) The ratification process was required because in the Philadelphia Convention, the delegates were trying to find a way to make changes to the Articles of Confederation. The delegates knew that if they took the draft to Congress, some members of Congress would disagree because it would reduce state powers. They also knew since Rhode Island was the only state that didn't send delegates, then it would be impossible for all 13 states to agree on the Constitution. So Madison and other delegates agreed that the plan was for 9 out of 13 states to approve the Constitution.

The Americans debated the proposed Constitution by writing essays supporting and opposing the Constitution largely in newspapers and pamphlets.

2) I believe that it helps people to give their names in pseudonyms because having a fake name is considered a right to privacy. When a person gives good ideas he/ she does not have to give out his/her full name just to show credit for their opinion.

1. The Ratification Process was required because the members of congress would oppose the draft of the consititution. At the Philedelphia Convention, was an process where 9 out of 13 states were needed to approve the consititution for it to be valid. Because of this, the americans debated through the federalist papers for he validation of the consititution.

2. I think that 9f someone who gives their opinion on a certain subject they should let their selves known because what if someone debate their argument, that debater would not have no way to give evidence.

The ratification process was required because they needed the comfirmation from all thirteen States to approve the Constitution. It took place in the pages of newspapers and pamphlets they made a choice by voting.

I think it does not hurt a debate if people don't identify themselves when arguing their point because as long as they get their point across people would take them serious and just move on and if they give their name depending on what type of debate it is they might get judged.

The ratification process was put into act to ensure a just agreement amongst the states in signing the Constitution. Based on previous occasions, the framers already knew that every state wouldn't agree with the idea, so they made it based on a majority rules policy of 9 out of 13 states makes the ultimate decision.

And the people who published their arguments on the ratification were spineless to use an alias name. There isn't as much emphasis on the persausion of the argument if you don't know who said it. Their identities had a lot to do with convincing readers.

The ratification process was required for the 13 states to come together bad agree upon the amendments and in the constitution and the signing of the constitution. The Americans debated through the federalist papers. That being the way they voted.

I believe remaining anonymous is a true help in debating. Reason being it allows you to express a full opinion/ideology/thought without being personally targeted. Full expression will be shown through confidentiality.

1) the ratification process was required to approve,ensure, and confirm the U.S Constitution to be valid. Delegates agreed to the plan of 9 out of 13.

2)I think that it hurts a debate if people don’t identify themselves when arguing their points, because they will not be know, and if someone else is usinh evidence it will hurts the evidence, because the evidence will be fake, because it does not have the real name of the debater. also will it hurts the debate, because if someone make a good point, it will make less interesting the debate
